Welcome to Calisya, a unisex upcycled clothing brand where fashion finds new life and self-expression takes center stage. Our name is a fusion of “calli”—from the Greek kallos, meaning beauty—and “asya”, symbolizing resilience and rebirth. Together, Calisya stands for beautiful transformation—where heritage textiles are reimagined into bold, wearable art.
Founded by Saumya Singh, a designer whose journey began in New Delhi and evolved through a Master’s in Fashion Design at Pearl Academy, Calisya is the culmination of a lifelong love for creativity and conscious living.
“I’ve been playing dress-up since childhood—wrapping myself in my mom’s sarees and twirling in front of the mirror,” Saumya recalls. That spark grew into a vision: to create fashion that gives back to the Earth while celebrating individuality.
Calisya is more than a brand—it’s a movement for conscious fashion, rooted in sustainability, artistry, and cultural storytelling. Each piece is handcrafted from upcycled vintage sarees and deadstock fabrics, revived with tie-dye, hand embroidery, and vibrant detailing. Designed for all genders, our collections are colorful, expressive, and entirely one-of-a-kind—just like the people who wear them.
